You guys! My schedule has been so busy lately that I was barely now able to sit down and write this post for you guys! I got lots of questions on the pieces I was wearing at NYFW so I thought a good round-up of what I wore was necessary, so here it goes!
In past fashion weeks I’ve done a lot of “sample pulling”, which is where I go to showrooms to borrow pieces and wear them during Fashion Week but this time I wasn’t able to do so. I decided to go to Fashion Week less days than usual so I wouldn’t miss my kids so much and because of this I had to forgo all the showroom visits and therefore no sample pulls this season. In other words I had to come up with a few good looks on my own and try not to spend too much money while doing so!
Don’t freak out because most of my looks were really NOT expensive (except maybe the handbags) which was VERY exciting for me! (Because I love finding good deals, don’t you?!)
Day 1:
This was one of my favorite looks! It was so simple and comfy and I literally changed into this in 10 minutes right when I arrived from the airport! The grey mock neck dress is from Zara from last year but I found some that are available right now (links below). The black fur coat is from 7 for All Mankind and it’s the same one that I took to Aspen! The bag is from an LA artist named Sonique Saturday. I got stopped by SO MANY photographers just so they could take a photo of the bag! It has been in my closet for like 2 years and I thought it would be a perfect piece for Fashion Week! (I’m so glad I took it)! The boots are a Prada Monster Combat Boot dupe…..I got them on a website called Silly Habit because…..you know when you’re not in the mood to spend $1,500 on shoes? I knew I would mostly wear them in NY so I thought spending less would be better on this. (They’re currently sold out but keep checking the website for re-stock). The super cute plaid black tights I found last minute at Target. I literally went to Target a day before leaving to NY and found them! And I seriously LOVE them ya’ll!
Day 2:
NYFW day 2 was so busy and packed with fun shows and events! I started the day getting my hair done by Tresemme! (They always have my back during Fashion Week)! The green jacket which I’m seriously obsessed with is from Shein and it’s under $40! The plaid pants are from Zara (purchased a few days before Fashion Week so they’re probably still in stock). The brown platform boots are from Free People and they are one of the best things that’s ever happened to me! (If you’re a shoe lover you know what I mean). And before you ask…..yes they are super comfortable and I literally walked in them ALL DAY! My sunnies are from Forever 21 and I got so many DM’s about them on Instagram that it was hilarious! They were $5.99 and I literally got them like 3 days before leaving to NY! I know the store still has them but for some reason I can’t find them on their website so I can’t link them. My bag is Fendi. It’s one of my favorite bags right now but I’m not even gonna bother trying to link it because they’re sold out. (Although you could try looking for one on the pre-owned luxury bag sites).
Day 3:
I was SO happy that hubby was able to fly into NY on Saturday night for a date night after my shows! We went to dinner at 21 Club which I totally recommend. We had been trying to have dinner there for years but it was a little hard with the kids so we finally were able to try it out and it did not disappoint! The next day we got up early in the morning and went to church at the Brooklyn Tabernacle which literally has THE BEST worship EVER! After that we picked up some “cronuts” at Dominique Ansel Bakery in Soho and I had him shoot some pictures of my outfit that day.
The black leather (not real leather) pants and the white mock neck oversized top are both from Zara. Again, I picked those up right before leaving for NY. Zara doesn’t let me link anything so I got some options for you that are a great price point. The black and white cowboy ankle boots I already had since last year and I love them!
Oh and that Saturday night when we were on a date, hubby and I stopped by Saks Fifth Avenue (on 5th Avenue!!!!) and I got the Prada Re-Edition 2000 Black Nylon Bag!!! I had been wanting a new black bag that I could wear with any outfit and this was the perfect one! They have it in ALL colors and they are so chic right now! So you need to get one!
Day 4:
Last but not least, I loved my Day 4 outfit! (You’ve gotta love it if you’re gonna wear it at Fashion Week right?). It also got so many compliments on this one! The White Coat is from Shein and it’s under $40!!! It kept me cozy in the cold and rainy NY weather! The white turtleneck top, the white pants, and white boots were all from Zara. My bag is Louis Vuitton and I’m sure you can still get it at any LV boutique or online.
Those were my simple yet fun NYFW looks this season in a nutshell! They are so easy to re-create and like I said, most of the looks are inexpensive (with the exception of the bags, which are total must haves)!
I’m working on a blog post next for my favorite Fall/ Winter 2020 collections that I saw at NYFW so stay tuned!
XOXO

The first black boots confuse me so much! So there are pouches on them? I do love the bag – so glad you pulled it out after 2 years. They are all cute looks!

You are one fashionable Momma! Your outfit selection for NYFW is on point. Those Prada combat boot dupes are so incredibly unique! I did look on the site and it still seems like they are out of stock. 🙁 I love your other choices too though and your Shein jackets look comfy and fashionable. Glad you had a nice dinner date with your husband too! Thank you for sharing!
