Snow and The Goodness of God

I still cannot get over the excitement that it actually snowed in San Antonio last night! My kids, hubby and I literally RAN outside and could NOT contain our excitement! Oh and in the morning…..everything was white you guys! It may snow all the time where you live but for us here it’s a MAJOR event as San Antonio only gets snow like NEVER!!!

The snow just reminded me of God.  It’s just like Him, to send you unexpected blessings when you literally least expect them!  Seriously we’ve had major road closures and schools shut down for less than this type of weather so to say we didn’t expect this snow is an understatement.  But isn’t just like God, to send you beautiful surprises when you least expect them? That’s the way He is, and I really believe and feel that this coming year 2018 will be a year of surprises and “suddenlies” when you least expect them! Of course with God we should always live with a level of expectancy because His word says that whatever we ask of Him, we WILL receive! But I think we sometimes get caught in this whole frame of mind of “I know God can do it”, but “will He do it for me”?

I think that this sudden unexpected blessing of snow last night is just a preview of the things you’re gonna begin to see God doing in your life this coming year.  So whatever difficult place you are in, or whatever challenges you’re facing, have faith that God will “suddenly” surprise you with the answer.  He’s so good. Don’t forget that He’s a good Father, and He’s not ever going to fail you or disappoint you.

Wow, this was supposed to be a Fashion post when I started out! Hahaha……So here’s the scoop on my outfit….

I’m not much of a mini-skirt girl but I fell in love with this velvet mini from H & M and just had to get it!

My furry jacket is from Target! I found it the last time I was in LA but I know you can get them on-line or at any Target location. (I literally ran into Target quickly as hubby and my kids waited for me in the car to go get some snacks, and I totally walked out with this Faux Fur jacket! Hahaha why does this happen all the time?!!!).

I’m in complete true LOVE with these Black Boots from a website called Choies.  I would check them out if I were you because this is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from them and both boots that I’ve ordered are of such good quality! I swear I’m like obsessed with these boots.  (I actually bought the mini skirt them!)

Last but not least my bag is the Givenchy Antigona in Medium (which is the biggest size).  They have them in Metallic Colors now and I’m freaking out you guys!
