Our Punta Mita Vacay

Its already been 2 weeks since my Punta Mita trip and I’m barely able to sit down and tell you guys about it! For years our go-to family beach was Cancun but since we had been there so many times I knew it was time to for a change.  Last year we went to Maui, Hawaii for the first time and we TOTALLY wanted to go back again because for one, our hotel was SO amazing, and of course Maui is paradise,  however I still had that little bug of wanting to go to a new place that we’d never visited before. That’s why we chose Punta Mita, Mexico.  Punta Mita is about a 45 minute drive north of Puerta Vallarta and its a tropical paradise!

It’s a private gated, very luxurious community where you can find multi-million dollar villas/ homes, 2 Jack Nicklaus golf courses, tennis courts, and 2 top luxury hotels which are the Four Season Punta Mita Resort and the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

Since we were a group of 10, we rented a gorgeous 4 bedroom villa.  Each room had it’s own bathroom which was perfect for all of us.  The home had a private pool and jacuzzi as well as a personal maid service daily (which was great because even our laundry was washed every single day!). The property also offers a personal chef service who can prepare your breakfast and dinner daily but we chose to for go that option and eat our breakfast at the hotel resorts every day (because hotel buffets ya’ll!).

Our property was in between both of the hotels and since a golf cart was included in the rental, it was so easy to just hop on the golf cart and go anywhere you wanted!

We spent every day at the beach clubs and I can tell you that my favorite beach club was the Pacifico beach club which shares beach space with the Four Season Hotel.  A beach club is basically like a country club on the beach so the service was UH-MAZING there!

St. Regis Resort Punta Mita

We also got a room 2 nights at the St. Regis resort so we could spend time at their beach club and take advantage of all of their pools.  The service at the St. Regis is like no-other.  You’re literally treated like royalty from the moment you step onto the property.

The beaches at Punta Mita were so calm and easy to swim in, However there are also some spots with enough wave action to where you catch some great surf waves.  (I REALLY wanted to take a surf lesson but it didn’t happen this time, hopefully next time around!) One thing that I did notice about all the hotels and beach clubs was that nothing was crowded.  Punta Mita is so private and peaceful and that’s basically a guarantee that you’ll be getting some R&R. That’s why so many celebrities flock to that place!

Two of the days we were there we also visited Sayulita, Pueblo Magico, which is a cute little typical Mexican town just a short 25 minute drive outside of Punta Mita.  You’ll find anything from delicious Mexican food to gorgeous handmade Mexican souvenirs and art. Sayulita is a surfer’s paradise so I saw MANY barefoot people carrying their surf boards and walking towards the waves.

I basically fell in love with Punta Mita you guys and I’d go back in a heartbeat! You should definitely consider it when planning your next vacay! With that top-notch first class service and accommodations I can guarantee that it will be an unforgettable experience that you’ll want to repeat many times!
