NYFW Recap

Fashion month is almost over! Are you loving all the fabulous upcoming trends (from NY, London, Paris, and Milan) or what?!!! It’s been almost 3 weeks since I came back from NYFW but I’ve been SO busy so I’m barely getting to do a quick little recap of all the outfits I wore! So, as per your request here it goes!

As usual, as soon as my plane lands, I hit the ground running and ALWAYS have to do my make-up in the car because my first day involves, shows, events, sample-pulls, and going to sleep really late! And did I mention my life depends on Uber all the while I’m there?

Anyway I knew I had to pack my first outfit in my carry-on bag so it had to be something very simple. One that I could walk around in all day! I chose a Red Zara dress, some black western boots (my boots are from a local shop but here are some similar ones), Quay sunglasses, gold heart earrings, and my black Dior saddle bag!

Next up 1 wore this amazing 2 piece (skirt and jacket top) from Beatrice B Italia which is one of my favorite Italian designers as you already know because I’ve mentioned her a few times here on the blog already (and on social media). I got SO many compliments from this and it was SO fun to wear! I wore it with my gold Aqua boots and a fun Fashion clutch which I picked up at Forever 21 before heading off to NYFW.

On day 3 I wore a gorgeous 2 piece MKT Studio Velvet suit.  I got SO many compliments on this one as well!!! It’s available on Shopbop , Bloomingdales or through the designer’s website!

Btw, that same day I visited Coffee n’ Clothes for the first time.  Did I mention I hardly ever eat when I’m at NYFW? Not because I don’t want to but because there is literally NO time at all and I always end up having to order room service at the end of the night.  However, I had heard about this place before and really wanted to try it out.  It did not disappoint.  They basically have a menu for you to choose which “designer coffee art” you want on your latte! I chose Prada that day and a cute YSL mini cupcake! So good!

On Day 4 I woke up early and ran to get my hair done by the wonderful Tresemme team! They used Tresemme Hold Level 3 Hairspray to do my hair and I LOVED the results.  The reason I mention the product is because I was traumatized by the old days when everyone use to use AquaNet and I was left with ZERO desire to ever use hairspray in my life! But this particular one by Tresemme left my hair so soft, not hard yet it made my beach waves stay the whole day! That’s huge you guys! The Tresemme stylists always make me look good during NYFW!

On this day I wore a silky pleated Beatrice B design that was just awesome and a major head turner! Loved every moment of wearing this dress! I was in love with the colors from the moment I saw it! Beatrice B is available on www.saks.com or directly on the Beatrice B website!

By the last day of NYFW I’m usually exhausted so I literally have no choice but to have the wonderful team once again work their magic on my hair! I’m so thankful that I’m always invited back by the Tresemme team each NYFW!

I specifically planned to wear this metallic puff sleeve belted top (or dress) with biker shorts and combat boots because as I mentioned before, by the last day of NYFW I’ve already walked miles, have eaten nothing, and slept nothing, so my main goal on the last day is to be chic yet comfy!

Last but not least, I did want to mention that this time I chose the 11 Howard as my home away from home for NYFW.  I’m so glad I did! I saw everyone from Aimee Song from Song of Style there as well as Tezza eating a sandwich in the lobby with her hubby!!! I loved it’s minimalistic clean vibes….so chic! The service was great and the location was perfect! I was walking distance from Spring Studios (NYFW shows venue) and basically next door to all the amazing Soho shops! Basically every night I would order room service, watch a few episodes of Friends while working on my laptop (and trying not to cry over the fact that I missed hubby and kids so much)!

For me, each NY Fashion Week just keeps getting better and better. And as I’ve mentioned many times before, I’ll never stop being thankful that due to Momma Loves Fashion blog, I have the awesome opportunity of being able to attend! It was a dream of mine ever since I started this blog so I don’t think I’ll ever stop being excited about it! Thank you gorgeous babes for following along on all my adventures!
