This weekend I was treated to a whirlwind 24 hours in the city to preview Giambattista Valli’s X H&M collaboration collection! I was invited by Pop Sugar to preview the collection before it’s available to the public and of course you can imagine that I jumped at the idea of having some “me time” or “mommy time” alone in NYC!
I got to explore the collection from the Paris-based master of design before it’s official launch this week. The setting was at The Occulus Plaza in the heart of downtown Manhattan. A surreal living sculpture labyrinth experience was created featuring a mystical garden, gallery wall, floral throne and magical fountain from renowned New York City floral artist Lewis Miller.
Do you remember a few months ago when Kendall Jenner walked around in a breathtaking hot pink tulle dress with a detachable train that was just jaw dropping?
Well that dress was from the Giambattista Valli collaboration with H&M and was only released in a limited supply in May. Of course it sold out immediately but don’t worry because the dress will be re-released (in a pastel pink color) this Nov. 7, 2019 at 8am so set your alarms!
The collection will not disappoint. The pieces are romantic and bohemian while having a punk-inspired twist with some chic pants, boots, sweatshirts and hoodies.
