Denim Skirts for Spring/ Summer

Hey you guys! How was your weekend? Hubby and I finally got around to celebrating Valentine’s day this weekend! We had a fun (we talked and laughed the whole night) steak dinner at Ruth’s Chris with a little pre-dinner Neiman Marcus trip to go drool over the Balenciaga Triple S sneakers.  Hubby is amazed at how ugly those things are and I want them even more because they’re so ugly it makes them cute!!! (They’re actually sold out everywhere so basically at this point you can only dream or buy them from a re-seller for double!!! Crazy!)

So, about denim skirts…..

I think Denim skirts are one of the best ways to add some options to your Spring/ Summer wardrobe! I don’t like my denim skirts too short because I like to be able to actually walk comfortable in them without looking weird.  In this blog post I’m wearing a BLANK NYC denim skirt that I absolutely fell in LOVE with because of the silver studs! I love anything with studs these days! (By the way this skirt is almost sold out!) My earrings are Kenneth Jay Lane earrings which I copied from Kyle on the RHOBH! (She always has the BEST earrings!!!) And of course my Ray Ban sunglasses which are my favorite of all the sunglasses I own!

I paired it with a white, button down, pearl embellished top from Zara, some black heeled booties, and a black and white crossbody handbag from Zara.

I love that you can dress these skirts up a little with some heels for date night dinner, or you can pair them up with some Balenciaga sneakers (yes I’m obsessed) and a cute tee to go catch a movie! I would totally also wear this skirt with some cute sandals and a nice ruffle top to go out to lunch with the kids!

  3. I love love love denim, so naturally this skirt is gorgeous and needs to be in my wardrobe! I do however prefer midi styles since I have larger thighs! You look absolutely gorgeous tho, great pick!
