Beatrice B Versatile Silky Dress

Guys who doesn’t love a lovely soft silky dress? I mean come on.  As it is, I was already in love with all of Beatrice B Italia’s unique designs but when they sent me this delicious dress,……I kid you not…..I was having a horrible day and then a fedex package arrives at my house.  My daughter brought the package box to my room and out comes a soft, 100% silk flowing mid-length dress with green tropical print. Both front and back are V-neck and it has my favorite kind of sleeves – kimono sleeves! It immediately put me in the BEST mood EVER! So since hubby and I already had a photoshoot planned (because yes, in case you haven’t heard, he is my photographer) I put this dress at the top of the list and had a fabulous time shooting this gorgeous thing! The front part of the dress has a ribbon.  I, for one, love any kind of clothing piece with a belt or a ribbon around the waist because it highlights your waist in a very subtle way and I LOVE it! Plus ya’ll, this dress (and every piece from Beatrice B Italia) is…..you guessed it….Made in Italy! I don’t know about you but whenever I wear anything European I automatically makes me feel more fabulous and chic!

Seriously though, I did not want to take this dress off because it is literally SO soft (as is everything else I’ve ever worn from Beatrice B).  And in case you were wondering, you can get this dress from the Beatrice B website or you can browse/shop other Beatrice B designs at Saks Fifth Avenue.  You know those investment pieces that are worth the splurge? Well this is definitely one of those because one thing I’ve noticed from Beatrice B designs is that her creations are timeless and oh so comfortable!  A lot of the trendy pieces I/we buy can only be worn for one season and then you have to “spring clean” them out of your closet.  That’s not the case with Beatrice B pieces.  They’re timeless! I can literally wear this dress today and it will look as cute 5 years from now!

For this photoshoot I dressed it up with some white Sam Edelman heel mules and my white Chanel.  Then I dressed it down with my brown Hermes sandals and a cute brown hat! In the winter I’ll probably put a blazer on it and some cute boots! Seriously go check out this fabulous designer!
